El Girona Christmas Swing va néixer el Nadal del 2012, amb la voluntat de treure als carrers de Girona formacions dedicades al jazz clàssic. Tot i que hi ha algun concert de pagament, la majoria de les actuacions es financen amb les aportacions voluntàries del públic.
